The Nova is one of ESI Motion’s most comprehensive space-ready servo drives, excelling across a wide range of performance factors. Weighing less than 2 lbs in a chassis that measures just 4.0″ x 3.5″ x 1.9″, the Nova is one of ESI Motion’s highest power density servo drives, delivering up to 100W of output power and reaching electrical speeds of 75,000 RPM.

This extremely small, lightweight, dual-axis controller is one of the few COTS servo drives for high-performance space applications (operating in vacuum and high vibration environments) on the market today!

The Nova is radiation tolerant. The safety-critical Nova is based on DO-178C baselined software, which can be tailored to your requirements. Nova is equipped with EMI & inrush protection, brake drivers, and is packaged in a ruggedized case.
