Simi Valley, CA – August 5, 2013 – ESI Motion has introduced the new Servo Drive series Roadwind to satisfy the challenging requirement for high speed motor control. Roadwind’s advanced technology allows for operation up to 300,000 RPM. It operates at 12 V to 56 V, and in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 71°C. Roadwind is ideal for ground, defense, automotive, and specialized industrial applications were precision, high speed motor operation is essential.
This fully integrated, advanced system combines all crucial functions into one compact ruggedized case including incredible high-speed performance, high speed DSP controller, active inrush limiter, resolver, encoder, sensorless feedback, configurable user friendly GUI, and PC interface with enhanced data collection ability.
