ESI Motion is pleased to announce it will be attending the 8th annual Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering & Technology Symposium (GVSETS), taking place in Novi, Michigan on August 2-4, 2016. ESI Motion will be at booth #102 presenting its lines of rugged, high-performance servo drives and modules, used throughout the ground defense, aerospace, naval, energy, robotics and specialized industrial applications. ESI provides innovative and low-risk solutions, blending proven technology with a modular approach to enable commonality, flexibility and rapid prototyping. We offer off-the-shelf and custom systems, and program level services including system level integration.
ESI Motion is showcasing two servo drivelines, in particular, that are the ideal solution for ground vehicle and military defense systems.
The first, the Mighty Mite Drive series, combines high power output and reliability in a compact, space-efficient housing. The Mighty Mite drive weighs only 3.7oz/105g and has a housing dimension of 3″x2″x0.6″, To achieve this level of performance, the Mighty Mite is strategically packaged in a potted plastic case, allowing for extreme durability in a compact size. This extremely lightweight controller is the only dual axis drive of this size available on the market today.
Next, the Hyperion Drive series, offers the highest power output of all ESI’s products. The Hyperion offers a power output of up to 100kW and accurate performance up to 240,000 RPM, and weighs in at of 9.8 lbs./4.5 kg. The unit is designed to withstand operating temperatures from -40ºC to 80ºC, making it ideal for rugged military operations where high power and reliability are required.
GVSETS brings together scientists and engineers from government, academia and private industry for a series of panels and discussions on the design, construction and engineering of military ground vehicle systems. Visit our booth 102 to see our exclusive high voltage and high-speed control lines.
